Keep the two deadlines separate
Applicable long-stay categories require notification after more than 90 days in the country. This reports information to Immigration and adds no days to your permission to stay. Keep separate records for your stay deadline and next TM.47. Some programmes have special reporting conditions; do not automatically apply the ordinary schedule to LTR.
Check approval, not just submission
The official online manual provides a filing window within 15 days before the due date. Do not import an in-person filing allowance into the online system. After submitting, check the outcome and save the receipt showing the next date. If rejected, incomplete or close to the deadline, contact the responsible office and arrange the available in-person procedure instead of relying on a submission email.
Next steps
- Check whether TM.47 applies to your status.
- Use the next date shown on the latest receipt.
- Review passport, entry and address details.
- Keep the accepted result; contact the office if rejected.
